Commercial division II.

In its current organisational structure, the Commercial Division II is strongly tied up to traditional commodities of Kerametal, and in recent years has focused on several main fields, divided into two commercial groups according to commodities. The changes in the external environment have reflected in a change in the business approach and now the Commercial Division II acts mainly on an exclusive and non-exclusive agency basis for foreign and domestic companies, joint venture, and also sells its own products.

Commercial group No.3

Commercial activities of group No. 3:

• Refractory materials
  magnesia, magnesia – chrome and chrome – magnesia, magnesia – carbon materials, magnesia-spinel, chemically bonded bricks, silica and high alumina materials (shaped, unshaped). Refractory materials are used in the following industries: steelworks, non–ferrous metals, the cement industry and others (glassworks, sugar plants, ceramics, lime works)
• Magnesia – forsterite – spinel bricks of KML brand
• Kaolin
• High temperature insulation materials
• Refractory chrome ore and other refractory ores and their concentrates
• Graphite electrodes and nipples
• Customer care service – construction design for refractory lining in furnace aggregates
• Other commercial activities and commodities according to customer requirements

Commercial group No. 5

Commercial activities of group No. 5:

• Industrial minerals for the glass industry, ceramic industry, the production of refractory materials, coatings, plastic materials and many other applications - sole agency for the Slovak Republic and the Czech Republic of the company Ankerport NV , Holland.
• Aluminium powders lamellar and non lamellar for the production of lightweight building materials, paints, refractory materials, explosives and for other applications - sole agency for the Slovak Republic and the Czech Republic of the company SUAL PM, Russia.
• Foundry grade chromite sand – representation for the Slovak Republic of the company Plomp Mineral Services BV, Holland.
• Non-ferrous metals – primary aluminium, copper cathodes, aluminium alloys and others.
• Semi-products from colour and black metallurgy.
• Carbon materials: electrode paste, anode mass, ramming paste pre-baked anode blocks of Slovak origin.
• Ferroalloys – FeSi, FeMnC, FeSiMn and other bulk ferroalloys.
• Foundry fluxes for aluminium, magnesium, zinc, copper and its alloys - sole agency for the Slovak Republic of the company Aluminium Martigny France, France.
