The gun crew Training Simulator provides a rapid, high quality and economically effected training of the gun crew members. It is determined to acquire the basic and improved control capabilities. The simulator is also intended for keeping abilities to control the system by the commander of the gun and also members of the crew, who are responsible for proper feeding of the shells and charges. Simulator is designed as a stationary workroom with assumption to place the whole system into the training classroom, which would provide the adequate climatic conditions.

Simulator consist of the following two basic subsystem:

• work station of instructor,
• four independent training workrooms for training of all members of the crew.

Simulator enables to realize an mutually independent training of the particular operators for the exercise of basic operations during the execution of firing tasks, such as fulfilment of firing task within the battery, consisting of four howitzers.

Simulator engages training in two basic regimes of communication:

• voice mode,
• data mode.

Simulator provides capabilities to acquire all necessary knowledge about the function of the main computer unit in connection with its peripheral systems and obtaining of all basic psychotronic customs, which are required for operating with the partial control points within the system and to acquire exact mode of data insertion in to the main computer unit.
