Hydraulic examination equipment
HPZ - examination hydraulic system equipment

The Examination hydraulic system equipment HPZ is determined for the filling and replenishment of hydraulic liquids in aircraft hydraulic systems and the examination of aircraft hydraulic systems. The HPZ secures at examination the delivery of hydraulic liquids to the onboard hydraulic appliances in a continuously regulated flow volume to the extent of 0 to 70 l/min and continuously regulated pressure output to the extent of 0 to 25 MPa.

The HPZ is capable of shutting down the hydraulic pump circuit of hydraulic liquids and deaerate its own hydraulic system. The HPZ enables also the examination of two aircraft hydraulic systems, while that system does not require the volume flow of liquid to be more than 70 l/min.

Parallel the connection of two HPZ superstructures with assisting hoses and connecting fittings is also able to examine aircraft hydraulic systems requiring a delivery of hydraulic liquid at the highest flow volume (110 l/min, at a pressure of 25MPa).

The HPZ is constructed in its own bodywork – container, which is in the lower part equipped with clamping components for stabilization on a flatbed truck.

In the container a LOMPARDINI combustion engine of the type LDW 2004/T is located with accessories, a PARKER axial hydrogenerator, a manual hydrogenerator, a cooling system, a hydraulic liquid tank and a fuel tank.

The LOMBARDINI LDW 2004/T engine type which is determined for driving axial hydrogeneratos and ventilators combined with a cooler for cooling is controlled centrally from the superstructure control panel, on which are also located the revolution indicators, the motor clock, and temperature indicator of the refrigerated liquids and the volume of fuel in the fuel tank.

The hydraulic system is determined for the examination of aircraft hydraulic systems and replenishment of liquids to aircraft systems. The source of the pressure in the system is the axial hydrogenerator or the manual hydrogenerator. If the source of the pressure is the axial hydrogenerator, the continuously regulated volume of the flow of liquid will not exceed 70 l/min and the continuously regulated output pressure will not exceed 25MPa. The manual hydrogenerator creates pressure at 30MPa.

The hydraulic system is able to secure the following functions:

  • examine the hydraulic system of aircraft
  • replenish the liquids in the aircraft systems
  • deaeration of hydraulic sources
